We would like to congratulate two hard working students nominated by their instructors for achievements in music:
Sam Wells, a young drummer Weymouth, Sam currently studies with teacher Mike Stavitz. Mike Says "He plays like he's ten years older than her is. He's such a good kid, and really has a talent for the drumest. He has been giggin all over the place!" Sam and his Punk/Rock group, the "Bar Room Heroes" were invited to play at the music circus after being recognized by local media. Sam is a well rounded musician, who has participated in recitals, and ensembles in addition to his lessons. As a level high level Cetificate Program student, Sam is studying theory and melody in addition to rhythm. In private lessons for roughly 5 years. Mike notes; "Sam is currenlty working on refining his rudiments .One of his great strengths is an ear for songform that is essential to great drumming." Sam shows great follow through and talent! Sam loves Rock and Punk, but can play a variety of styles on his set. Next Big thing???,,,we think so!
Elizabeth & Christina Paluzzi, Mom and daughter on guitar. Christina age 10 currently studies with teacher Justin Tolan and has been goin strong with him for close to a year along with Mom. Both ladies have had lessons in the past, but are being nominated now by current teacher, Justin. "Both Christina and her mom show up week after week with a really high level of enthusiam for learning" says Justin. "Christina has a great ear and breaks down rhythm extremely well, for an adult, let alone a child! Elizabeth, her Mom, has the technique as if she'd been playing for years and years. She is so precise and careful with the instrument. Despite the raw talent in this duo, they are both humble and full of character. Christina works from week to week, chipping away at learning Taylor Swift & Justin Beiber's full discography...and at this rate, she'll probably have it all by the end of the year! Elizabeth has a cool mix of tastes and is learning everything from Motown to Classic Rock. They are both extremely talented and really good people"

In January, "Sound of My Heartache", the first single from singer/songwriter Trina Aitken's upcoming CD was released to itunes and Amazon to rave reviews! Now, her Follow Up single, "Good Enough" (the last release before the full album) is also available for download directly from itunes as of June 10th. The song was introduced to an enthusiastic audience of fans and fellow music lovers at the River Club on June 4th, before it even went on sale! Record Your Own CD!
You've practiced hard...now it's time to put it all together and record your very own CD! Ideal for singers and students of all instruments, a recording is a great way to document your progress and a great way to showcase your talents to family and friends. Students can perform select works from their repertoire, or perform over pre-existing instrumental or karaoke tracks. Whichever you choose, the end result is a professionally produced CD of your work which will last a lifetime. Sessions are 2 hours in length and can be booked by calling Bosse at 781.337.8500.
