Through the study of songwriting, students develop the essential skills necessary to compose unique, well-crafted music and lyrics. Focusing on melodic and harmonic techniques, lyric writing and an in-depth analysis of song form, our faculty stresses the importance of analyzing the masterful composers of the past and present as a gateway to acheiving your own unique and individual voice.
