Bosse School of Music provides a wide range of music education services, including private lessons for all instruments and voice, group band ensembles, early childhood classes, summer programs, and courses in songwriting and creative technologies. With a diverse and talented student body and a faculty of dedicated professional educators, Bosse has grown to become the largest non-degree granting institution for contemporary music study in Massachusetts. For over twenty years, the school has helped thousands of students achieve their dreams of becoming musicians.

HISTORY

Founded in 2004 by Ron Bosse—a renowned musician, audio engineer, and producer whose two decades of experience in the music industry shaped his belief in the profound connection between education and artistry—Bosse School of Music was created to revolutionize music education. Ron envisioned a curriculum that seamlessly blends personalized lessons, dynamic ensemble experiences, and engaging studies in both songwriting and emerging technologies. This vision quickly resonated within the community, establishing Bosse as the premier destination for music education on the South Shore of Massachusetts.

In 2007, the school expanded into a state-of-the-art facility, reflecting its commitment to growth and excellence. The new space, equipped with cutting-edge recording studios, known as Bosse Studios, and numerous private lesson rooms became a creative hub where students could immerse themselves in the collaborative process of making music through ensembles.

In 2014, Bosse broadened its educational horizons with the establishment of the School of Multimedia Technology. By offering courses in audio recording, video production, digital photography, and graphic design, the school embraced the interconnectedness of the arts and affirmed its place as a pioneer in contemporary education, the only institution of its kind in Massachusetts.

In 2024, Bosse celebrated its twentieth year in business, a testament to the prolonged creative journey Ron once envisioned into reality.
