ABOUT

Bosse School of Music offers private instruction for all instruments & voice, certificate programs, ensembles, early childhood classes, summer programs and courses in theory & composition.

With a diverse and talented student body, and a dedicated faculty of professional music educators, Bosse is the largest non-degree granting school for the study of contemporary music in Massachusetts. For over 9 years, the school has helped thousands of students realize their dreams of becoming musicians.

HISTORY

Bosse School of Music was formed in 2004 by Ron Bosse, a sought after musician, audio engineer & producer with over 20 years experience in the music industry. Ron’s idea of creating a curriculum that combined private lessons, ensembles, and classes in music theory & technology with a top notch faculty was embraced by the community, and the school quickly emerged as the regions premiere destination for music education.

In 2007, Bosse expanded into a new building to accommodate its growing student body and faculty. Equipped with a state-of-the-art recording studio, and multiple ensemble & private lesson rooms, the school began to offer an expanded ensemble program & summer program series.

In 2014, Bosse expanded its educational reach with the launch of the School of Multimedia Technology. Offering comprehensive courses in audio recording, video production, digital photography & graphic design, the school is the only one of its kind in Massachusetts.

MISSION

The mission of Bosse School of Music is to offer a comprehensive music education for students of all ages and levels.

We seek to develop our students’ overall musicianship by offering a combination of private lessons, ensembles and classes in theory & composition taught by a faculty of professional music educators.

Our goal is to enrich the cultural landscape of the south shore region by serving as the premiere organization for music education and an outlet for creativity.
